Thanks to the use of Ergonode, Sportano was able to launch sales in the PL market in a very short period of time and accelerate the launch of additional markets in Europe.
Challenges:
- Determine an effective process for describing products
- Plan to add a large assortment of products in a very short period of time
- Variety of assortment and product categories, including team sports, water sports, winter sports, fishing, hiking, biking, skating, apparel, accessories and many others

- Determination of the product life cycle and definition of responsibilities (taking into account the planned development of the team and planned markets)
- PIM solutions market research
- Implementation of Ergonode PIM tool (2 months)
- Sales launch (12.2021) with initial product base created in Ergonode PIM
- Preparation of descriptions of the initial assortment in less than 2 months (1000 products) by a Product Content team of 5 people
- Successive increase of the product base (currently: more than 200 thousand products in more than 300 categories)
- Expansion of the Product Content team (currently: 30 people)
- Launch of additional markets (Czech Republic, Hungary, Romania)
Results
Thanks to the use of Ergonode, Sportano was able to launch sales in the PL market in a very short period of time and accelerate the launch of additional markets, while significantly increasing the number of products available for sale (1 thousand -> 100 thousand in six months).
